2 top officials of TIB met CJ, other judges over corruption report

Two top officials of the Transparency International of Bangladesh (TIB) yesterday met the Chief Justice and other judges of the committee, made to evaluate recent TIB report, at the judges' lounge of the SC.
The two officials were: Chairman of TIB Trusty Board M Hafiz Uddin Khan and Executive Director Dr Iftekharuzzaman.
Earlier on Wednesday, Supreme Court invited three TIB officials to take tea and discuss over questionnaires of its recent household survey that showed the Judiciary as the top corrupt sector in the country.
Another official of TIB, Trusty Board Member Prof Mozaffar Ahmed didn't attend the meeting for his illness, sources said.
After a one-hour meeting, Iftekharuzzaman told journalists that they discussed with the judges on the overall report.
They cleared different points of the report when the judges wanted to know, he said.
