Leaders of Jatiyatabadi Ainjibi Forum yesterday (December 15) demanded disclosure of wealth statement of the family of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
At a protest meeting in the Supreme Court, the JAF leaders Awami League should be respectful to BNP as AL was revived for introducing multiparty democracy by the BNP founder Ziaur Rahman.
The meeting was arranged by JAF in protest of impolite comments made by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and other AL leaders against former president Ziaur Rahman and opposition leader Begum Khaleda Zia.
Presided over by Adv Zainal Abedin, the meeting was addressed, among others, by JAF president Barrister Rafiqul Islam Miah, Secretary General Barrister Mahbub Uddin Khokon, Adv Fazlur Rahman, Adv Asia Ashrafi Papia MP and Adv Ferdousi Akhter Wahida.
Rafiqul Islam Miah urged the Prime Minister to refrain form making impolite comments, otherwise there was no question of joining session of the Parliament.
