The Supreme Court Committee, formed to examine a recent TIB household survey report that spotted the Judiciary as top corrupt sector in the country, has submitted its report to the Chief Justice saying it baseless, SC sources said.
Chief Justice ABM Khairul Haque earlier formed the probe body comprising five senior High Court judges-- Justice MA Wahab Miah, Justice Nazmun Ara Sultana, Justice Md Imman Ali, Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain and Justice Sheikh Rezowan Ali. Sources of the Registrar office in the SC said the inquiry committee submitted its report yesterday that termed the Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) report baseless, to the CJ on January 18.
